Board of Trustees for Christian County Library, Monthly Meeting

The Board of Trustees is the governing body of the Christian County Library, comprised of five unpaid members, appointed by the County Commission, each representing a particular area of the county. The Board meets monthly, and meetings are open to the public.

Board meeting agendas will be posted in all Community Branches one week prior to the meeting, community members wishing to speak at a Board meeting must submit an agenda request form by close of business three business days prior to the meeting date.

Regular Library Board of Trustees meetings take place online at 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise designated. Location changes and agendas will be posted here at least 24 hours prior to a meeting, as will dates of any special meetings as they are scheduled.

Most Board of Trustees meetings are open to the public, but those wishing to address the Board should contact the Library for a Public Comment Request Form and submit it at least 3 business days in advance of the meeting where you wish to speak, in accordance with our Public Comment Policy.

Trustee Bylaws, Article I, Section II empowers the President or three Trustees together to call a Special Meeting as needed. Schedules for these will vary; see posted agenda for details.
