WTP Greene Co Ask for School Board Votes April 4th

We the People of Greene County is asking that citizens please consider voting on April 4th in the Springfield School Board Election.

You may ask WHY?

Currently in our R-XII School System, as cited by the National Center for Education Statistics (NECS) in the Missouri Department of Education:

  • Only 32% of students are functioning at their grade-level in Math
  • Furthermore, only 46% are reading at their grade level.

Our high schools have become little more than diploma mills.

This has to be corrected, and to do so we need to:

  • Refocus on a quality curriculum, rather than social indoctrination
  • Revive achievement based on merit, not equity
  • Restore order in our classrooms with effective consequences for bad behavior.

It’s not a small task.  We the People of Greene County cannot endorse a candidate but we can recommend two individuals who are up to the challenge.  Both Chad Rollins and Landon McCarter are parents, entrepreneurs and strong leaders who will make a difference.

Every vote matters.  You’ve heard it before; but it’s true. Never has it been so evident as in some of the close races we’ve seen recently.  Please help us turn things around for our kids, our families and our community.  Help us protect our kids, our parents, and our teachers.

NOTE:  Even if you live outside of Springfield City Limits, you can still vote if you’re in the Springfield R-XII School District.
